The Beer + Series returns for third year

Events geared towards young adults pair unique themes with craft beer

Kitchener, ONTHEMUSEUM is proud to announce that The Beer + Series, presented by Momentum Developments, is back for a third year. After a very successful round of events last year, the series has been relaunched with new themes and partners for its 2015-16 installments.
The events within The Beer + Series pair unique themes with a variety of local micro-beers in hopes of attracting more young adults to cultural events in the downtown core. THEMUSEUM has partnered with industry professionals, including many local businesses, to create unique, exciting content for each event. Each event features a local brewery showcasing their product.
“We aim to create events that engage visitors of all ages, and have been developing increased programming directed at young adults in the downtown core,” said David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM. “These events will bring more people downtown and expose them to various local businesses in a fun, creative atmosphere.”
The first in the series, Beer + Dinosaurs, featuring Dustin Growick, AKA The Dinosaur Whisperer, will take place on Wednesday, October 28. Growick, who is visiting from New York City, is the host of The Dinosaur Show on YouTube, and has over 21 thousand followers on Instagram. He will be giving a brief presentation, invite visitors to participate in an interactive activity in the current Dinosaurs | The Edge of Extinction exhibition, and film a new episode for his YouTube channel.
