Too often during the holiday season we stress over what presents to buy, how much to spend, who to invite to our Christmas parties – stresses that in the grand scheme of things are really not all that important. Especially when you consider there are those who are unable to buy presents, who have no money to spend, or no one to spend a festive party with.
Hand-in-hand with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is the spirit of giving and providing for those less fortunate. It is in that spirit that 570 News and KIX 106 have come together to support the Salvation Army Secret Santa Toy Drive. This program was designed six years ago with one goal in mind – to ensure that every child in the Waterloo Region had a present to open on Christmas morning.
The Secret Santa Toy Drive is asking you to drop off unwrapped toys to help realize this goal. THEMUSEUM has a collection box in our front lobby. Simply drop off the unwrapped toys in the box by the end of next week (see the photos) and 570 News, KIX 106 and the Salvation Army will take care of the rest. Help us reach out and ensure that every boy and girl has a Christmas morning worth remembering.
