We're starting a new regularly occurring feature here on THEMUSEUM Blog: Staff Profiles. I'm hoping to get this going once a week, but don't hold me to it!

Because I get to blog, host The Chatterbox and run THEMUSEUM's Twitter and Facebook accounts, you get to know me pretty well. But there are a lot of other fantastic people that work here and I want you to get to know them!

The format is going to remain consistent and we'll see how creative people can get with this. Melissa Stephens is first up and she sets the bar pretty high! Enjoy...

Q. What do you do at THEMUSEUM?

A. Partnerships & Events Coordinator, WIZHawk [editor's note: we really like to play the card game Wizard and have a penchant for giving nicknames with the word Hawk. Don't ask.], Hostess Cupcake & Timbit Connoisseur

Q. Give us the elevator pitch on you.

A. I’m clutzy, determined, love music & smile a bit…

Q. If you were so inclined, how would you attempt to take over the world?

A. I would make an army of Zombies, because as much as everyone talks about Zombies, no one ever REALLY expects them so it would be all about the element of surprise… (I really have no idea…) but Zombies sound like a pretty solid way…or it could backfire and then I’ve just helped the Zombies take over the world.. who knows!?

Q. Team Edward or Team Jacob? (if you’re younger than 25) Sonny or Cher? (if you’re older than 25)

A. Team Edward – I’ll admit it, I’m a Twilighter, all the way… Bella and Edward are soul mates, but I can’t help but love Jacob also. Both have their pros and cons, so in a perfect world there would be some super VAMWOLF that would be “Jacward” but I stick to Team Edward… mmmm not only are he and Bella soul mates, he gorgeous (in a weird pale Vampire-esk way), has a ripped body (but not too ripped), he’s a gentleman (proving chivalry is not dead – yet he is?), and he is completely and utterly in love with Bella. <3

Q. Do you prefer long walks on the beach? Or long walks in the streets? And why?

A. Long walks on the beach when by a beach (aka Australia – Surfers Paradise) because the sound of the waves, smell of the ocean, sand on your feet is so peaceful and can take you away from anything in a moment…. but while not on vacation walks in the streets, it’s a prime place to people watch(hilarious, and possibly one of my favourite things to do) and also you get an appreciation for everything that is around you that you wouldn’t normally take notice of..the architecture and everything that the city has to offer. But if I had to pick… Beach.

Q. If you were a webpage, what would you be about?

A. I would be a lyrics database for sure … all the best lyrics/meaningful lyrics would be on my page.

Q. If you were stuck in THEMUSEUM overnight, what exhibit would you play with the most?

A. Do Plasma Cars count? If not… the Star Lab & “Me and My Shadow” would tie.
