Child-sized exhibition exposes young visitors to science

Science + You: Kohl Children’s Museum exhibition part of Summer of Discovery

Kitchener, ON – This summer THEMUSEUM’s Summer of Discovery exhibition features the Science + You: Kohl Children’s Museum exhibition. Its contents are geared specifically towards children, and aims to get young visitors interested in the sciences, specifically those related to healthy living. All of the items in Science + You, including the lab coats, are child sized.
Science + You is a completely immersive and interactive exhibition. Young visitors, along with their parents, are able to learn what scientists do on a daily basis: use lab tools such as beakers and microscopes, conduct experiments, and learn how antibodies work within you to fight off germs.
“The Science + You exhibition is the perfect example of science and technology at play,” said David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM. “It allows children to explore new topics, and interact with them in fun ways that will inspire them to get involved in science.”
Weekly science demonstrations and experiments will be done in conjunction with Science + You, so visitors of all ages will be able to see formal applications of scientific information.
