Macrame is a form of craft-based art textile produced through knotting techniques that has been enjoying a resurgence in modern home décor style. Tanya Smith of The Feral Knit is a local artist and social worker that first learned macramé as a young child growing up in Kitchener. In this workshop, you will learn basic knotting techniques and design your own simple driftwood and natural cotton fibre wall hanging to adorn your home with. Your ticket includes all supplies needed to create your wall hanging and instruction through the knots.
Each ticket also includes 1 pint. Additional beer available for purchase. This event is 19+. Doors open 6:30pm to give you enough time to grab a beer and your seat, and run from 7pm until about 9pm. Come earlier to check out THEMUSEUM’s featured exhibitions.
