Exhibition Description: QUANTUM: The Exhibition was created by the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at the University of Waterloo. It is bilingual, accessible, and interactive; the exhibition showcases Canada's scientific excelled in quantum information science and technology. The exhibition will examine how quantum mechanics and information technology are merging to create technologies that will revolutionize and define the 21st century. Visitors will engage with the core concepts of quantum mechanics through hands-on interactives, multimedia displays, videos and stories of pioneering scientists in this emerging field. They will also learn about technologies that already exist that utilize these principles, along with having the chance to share their vision of a quantum future.
