Brewery: TWB (Together We’re Bitter) Co-op Brewing

Location: Kitchener, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Wobbly Wheel

The beer family at TWB has been building for a few years now. As Kitchener’s very own co-op brewery, they make sure that everyone has input. See how their beer is made, taste it, and love it. I guess you could say that TWB is for Kitchener, by Kitchener.

Brewery: Block Three Brewing Company

Location: St. Jacobs, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: King Street Saison

Welcome to Block Three’s microbrewery! Enter the tasting room and make your way to the bottle shop to find your favourite St. Jacobs made craft beer. Block Three makes so many great one-off beers creating the perfect excuse to spend every evening there soaking up everything that St. Jacobs has to offer.

Brewery: Abe Erb Brewing

Location: Waterloo, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: 1857 Kölsch

Abe Erb is famous for their industrial style breweries and restaurants in Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener. Live music, traditional eats, and community are what you’ll find alongside one of their many rotating house made craft beers.

Brewery: Innocente

Location: Waterloo, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Two Night Stand

Innocent until proven guilty, right? Innocente is a devilish brewery with an angelic side when it comes to their community. They are constantly supporting events, charities, and restaurants. There is not a single reason you wouldn’t try Innocente – just ask the devil on your shoulder.

Brewery: Elora Brewing Company

Location: Elora, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Elora Borealis – Citra Pale Ale

As if you needed another reason to visit the beautiful city that is Elora, you can now pop into the Elora Brewing Company after your swim in the quarry and stroll through the Centre for the Arts. This little brewery captures the heart of their city and provides every guest with an amazing meal. Oh, and beer of course.

Brewery: KW Craft Cider

Location: Kitchener, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Sparkling Draft Cider

Soaking up the history of Kitchener-Waterloo, KW Craft Cider blends five types of apples to create a dry clear cider that literally everyone enjoys. With a rotating seasonal selection, you can change your cider preferences all year, whether it’s for on the patio or in front of the fireplace.

Brewery: Royal City Brewing Company

Our Favourite Brew: Hibiscus Saison

Home of intimate breweries and in-house dance parties, Royal City provides us with yet another great thing about Guelph. Every beer is brewed in small batches, allowing for individual perfection. Drop by for a pint and to register for their new beer school!

Brewery: Descendants Beer & Beverage Co.

Location: Kitchener, ON.

Brewery: Wellington

Location: Guelph, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: County Dark Ale

Wellington was part of the kickoff of all Ontario microbreweries. They’re a huge part of their community and invite everyone to visit them to see how the magic is made – and considering they’ve been perfecting their craft for over 30 years, it really is magical.

Brewery: Four Fathers Brewing Co.

Location: Rockwood, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Wee Gobshite

Located just outside of Guelph, Four Fathers really should be your go-to hangout spot. Not only do they hold many kick-ass events in their space, but they have pool tables and Ping-Pong to keep you engaged.

Brewery: Grand River Brewing

Location: Cambridge, ON.
Our Favourite Brew: Anarchist Scotch Ale

GRB describes themselves as defiantly independent, and we can’t argue that. Located in an old industrial knife company building, GRB has transformed into a brewery that everyone can enjoy. 2017 marks the opening of their new hospitality room available to rent. Plus, Penny the Dalmatian might be there to greet you!

There you have it: eleven breweries – and unique brews – to fill up your new growler with! Let us know which one was your favourite!
