Kitchener ON - THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener is pleased to announce that they have solidified a partnership with the Waterloo Accelerator Centre in the David Johnson Research and Technology Park to manage the social media channels for the world-renowned, award-winning centre.  The contract is for one year with an option to continue the partnership past that.

THEMUSEUM and Accelerator Centre began a three month trial period beginning in April.  After impressive improvements to social media channels, both parties agreed to extend the partnership for a full year.  To date, the partnership has focused on setting up and strengthening social media channels, content strategy development and monitoring of online conversations.  One of THEMUSEUM's strengths is its use of social media to increase online engagement while promoting events and exhibitions resulting in presentations and workshops for the Canadian Museums Association and partnerships with peer organizations.
